[update] Heavenly Path; Lovism
Anyone know the meaning of these? I can guess, but who makes them? This circular symbol, and 'lovism' and the 'heavenly path', all appear everywhere around Nepal.
Last night, in Dhulikhel at the Nawaranga Guest house, Purna explained that Heavenly Path is kind of a sect of Buddhism called "Monokranti", led by Swami Picasa Anunda; he says they have some extreme purification acts, lke long-term fasting and isolation and hot-coal walking.
Here's a website that might shed some insight, though I can't navigate past the home page.

ReplyDeleteHope u will find some answers
The above comment posted by eric uhlich in red is absolutely wrong. I am a member of Heavenly Path USA. I have tried to explain Lovism below. Hope this will solve your question.
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Path has nothing to do with any kind of religion. Lovism, the symbol above, is a different sight but is a very important part of Heavenly Path. The purpose of Lovism in Heavenly Path is to bring out the most powerful feeling of Love in each and every human being and and make it eternal. Lovism does not only represent the love between human beings, but also between God and humans and nature and other living things/animals.
The innermost circle represent = Love between humans & God
The middle circle represent= Love between humans.
The outer circle represent= Love between humans and nature/animals
The first dot represent= Love existed in the past
The second dot represent= Love exists now
The third dot represent= Love will exist forever.
The question mark = Why did love disappear in the world?
The red colour represent's blood.
Thank you for the clarification Mamta!
